SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE OF REINCARNATION Lecture by Paul Von Ward
Friday, October 24, 2008 -- 7:00-9:00 pm Eastern IONS Homosassa Meeting 1 Golfview Drive Homosassa, FL
IONS Homosassa Coordinator Patricia Kittleman Welcomes Paul Von Ward
"If
a mechanism for reincarnation exists in the universe, it should be
testable through the tools of modern science." asserts cosmologist Paul
Von Ward, author of The Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation and
other books.
After years of research on various types of
reincarnation cases, Paul has found that without recourse to psychic
readings, hypnotic regression, or spirit guidance, a plausible
scientific case can be made for reincarnation. Thousands of proposed
past-life connections can be more logically explained by a soul genome
(psychoplasm) that carries forward holistic personality from one life
to another than by any other theory.
Research by Paul and
several others suggests that our physical features and the ways we
think, react emotionally to life events, interact with others, and
focus our creativity may all be shaped by past-life experiences. Even
if we do not know who these past lives were, their imprints show up in
this lifetime. His case studies (famous people and not) illustrate how
reincarnation works in the real world. Paul's presentation provides
natural explanations for karma and other Eastern and Western concepts
of reincarnation. He explores its implications for one's daily
decisions and actions, introducing a wider awareness of the scope of
free will.

SCIENCE APPROACHES REINCARNATION LECTURE- July 13, 2008 by Paul Von Ward
If
the Dalai Lama is a reincarnated being, it is equally likely that
everyone's personality is also based in a previous lifetime. At least,
this is the conclusion of empirical research that led to the book The
Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation by Paul Von Ward.
At 6:00
p.m. on July 13, at the Sewanee Community Center, Paul, a former
resident and community activist in the Sewanee-Monteagle area, will
lead a discussion of the topic. With many cases and pictures that may
surprise you, Paul asks you to "contemplate that what you study in
school or college, where you live and work, whom you marry, or not, how
you spend your free time, who your friends are, and what you feel about
it may reflect the influence of events in centuries past.”
The
public is invited. Interested individuals can also participate in an
early pot-luck supper beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the center. Bring a
dish or something to drink for sharing. Inquiries can be addressed by
email to Tom Jarrett.
